Outsider Collective Membership

Outsider Collective is a community art center and gallery located within the largest Artist Hub in Pawtucket, RI, the Hope Artiste’s Village. We support and serve adults living with differing abilities by providing an inclusive artist space for our Members to grow and learn in a creative atmosphere while gaining mentors and building long lasting friendships.

We started Outsider Collective because we understand the importance of the arts in maintaining an enjoyable and vibrant life, most especially to those who mainly express themselves through their artwork. Our Directors and team are dedicated to serving those with differing abilities by helping to promote, encourage and inspire individual creativity through community and belonging.

Outsider Collective was inspired by the many magical individuals who attended RHD-RI’s Arts based day program

What A Membership at Outsider Collective Includes

• Access to a safe, integrated community art studio and gallery
• Artistic instruction and opportunity to create using different types of media and techniques
• Portfolio development and guidance
• Access to daily workshops, classes, and activities during open studio hours
• Opportunities to exhibit and sell original artwork at various art shows at Outsider Collective as well as each Saturday during the Fall/Winter Pawtucket Open Artisans Market within the
  Hope Artiste’s Village
• Opportunity to grow natural supports and friendships with likeminded artistic individuals
  
• Self-employment mentoring and coaching from artists and professionals
